Apexi WS2
Greddy EVO
Greddy SP2
Had all three. But to be honest, the sound of stock was best. Aftermarket test pipe, then Greddy B Pipe, to Stock ITR Muffler. Sounded great.

straight pipe is the only way since it doesnt matter how loud it is. Just get a pipe from the end of your test pipe either get it bent to match and OEM exhaust path or stop it before it bends so its a short pipe.
or if you want a name brand get a buddy club spec 2 which is an exhaust with no mufflers or resonators.

Re: good sounding exhaust with test pipe
sure, greddy sp exhaust system sounds great with our without a cat but I would stay away from greddy exhaust systems. I've had 2 of their first gen sp exhaust and both of them fell apart internally. Customer service didn't even bother responding to my issue, and I know I'm not the only one who ran into this problem.
I'm currently running the apexi ws2 cat back, test pipe, and hytech replica header.....sounds nice and its not loud at all. I actually think my dc header, test pipe, and greddy sp exhaust was louder than my current set up

he asked bout the sp2. not sp.
im pretty sure we all know the sp's were known to fall apart.
the sp2's are strong. had mine for 3 years, no problems with it falling apart.

Re: good sounding exhaust with test pipe
Why do you have your heart set on a test pipe? Like I said before if you get a chambered muffler, that totally defeats the slight advantage of a test pipe over a highflow cat. You will not know the difference between the two anyway except test pipes are generally more obnoxious and "smell bad." But do whatever blows up your skirt. Just look up a video of a regular ws2 and that is about what it will sound like.
