Default getting a DA needs ref please advise

this car is awesome, has alot of xsi parts on it. front and rear seat, tail lights
headlights, and soon to be motor. im picking this car up in the next couple of
days and i need a little advice.
he got a ref ticket for intake a while back, weve since put the stock box back. the
car is bone stock minus the exhaust. the exhaust does have a cat and
resonator. will they bitch at that? and how bad will it be to get it reffed?
here are some pics.

If he took care of the ref ticket for the intake, I wouldnt worry about it. When transferring titles all you really need to worry about is if the car will pass smog.

And, You dont have XSI back seats. XSI back seats have headrest's, I dont know about the front.

i cant find what they came out of. the stitching is completely different then any other da. ive looked. and the reason i posted this is because he hasnt reffed it, he has no money to do this with. he is a very good friend of mine.

the seats look like this

Refs suck they are very picky they will check serials on for stolen parts & engine also smog ur ride so if you have to take it in take it in bone stock cuz refs know all the b series engines belong to what car & model.

If you are that worried about it just pay the ticket. You don't have to go to the ref.

if your front seats look like that, then they probably are from an xsi

however, bambam was correct in stating rear seats came with head rests

if you want to know exactly how much xsi stuff is on there, i'd be happy to list all the differences between usdm and jdm

the stitching on the back are excactly the same as the front. i mean i know xsi came with headrest but then where did the back seats come from? they match perfectly and are not the stock seats.

As long as you pass smog and it isn't above 95 db. Go test it.

The front seats appear to be from the 1989-1991 (pre-face lift) DA, the Facelift (late 91-92) has darker & less 'tweedy' style seats. (Significantly more 'plush' imo)

They could also be from an RSi (or similar derivative of the lightweight R*i
DA's) as I believe they had no head rests in the rear.
I also don't recall if there were any facelift R*i's.

It's got Facelift wheels though
