well when i got the car it had aftermarket gauge cluster and blinkers...

when i took it out and put a gsr gauge cluster, the gauge cluster lights dont turn on and my fuel gauge isnt working...

its not the instrumental fuse.. i checked that already..

cluster lights and fuel guage work off the same earth so check that, that has been re attached.

You didnt say what car you have but on a DA6 its a wire(black) comming out of the loom that plugs into the cluster and bolts onto the body.

 

its a 96 teg...

where is that black wire coming from? and u ground it?

 

not sure on a 96 havnt fully pull one of them apart. But check around the loom to the cluster. And it just bolts down on to the lip under the windscreen by the steering coloum.

Yup you ground it.

 

what year is the cluster you put in?

 

can we get a picture of this loom and where this wire is suposed to be?

i have a black wire in my civic running threw the firewall from the passenger side and up to the cluster area. either end isnt into anything but their both dangling.

also my fuel guage always stays on Full and doesnt move ever.
