I get some awsome gas milage when I baby the car. I'm using a p72 ecu to contorl stock injectors in my high comp b16, and I get about 35mpg. I don't have power steering or A/C so that may make a difference also.

So many things can effect your gas mileage, but the biggest is the way you drive. Shift at 3000 every gear, don't sink the gas pedal, and observe the miracle of good gas mileage.

I know that....but my assumption is this: Since the price hike, I believe the quality of the gas has dropped...which would make our cars perform slightly worse and probably have our foot heavier on the pedal. I could be wrong....but how odd is it that i've consistently had a 26-30 MPG GSR and I only notice a consistant drop now? I think I take good care of my car, considering I have managed to keep it alive at 276,500 miles. Original engine...

I average about 25 MPG with my 96 gs-r. Gas mileage goes down slightly in the summer time over here in cali, they oxigenate the gas (supposedly for cleaner emissions)

My 93 RS had a gas light that would fade on if you got it down so low.

headerz help gas miledge, so does a good working clutch, and a full tune up plugs wires ect., clean injectors, properly working o2 sesors, learn how to drive for miledge i.e. the lowest gear you can get away with is not always the best for gas miledge, also don't redline alot

2 years ago when I ran 310cc injectors, I tuned my hondata so that partial throttle (cruising) gave a 15.2:1 afr. From 100% freeway driving and no boost I was able to get 436 miles off of one tank. The EGT's were pretty high though on the freeway, so I have since then tuned it to about 14.1:1 for cruising. I now get about 300 miles to the tank if I have a light foot

I'm getting 30mpg, pump an average of 10.5 gallons, and get about 300-325 miles a tank. Mostly freeway driving, and a few revs here and there.

on my old head i was getting 25mpg with about 10 gallons (out of 13.2)

the old head had a couple burnt exhaust valves which would just throw out fuel from my 3rd cylinder

since ive put a new slightly built head on, ive already got 250 miles on the tank and ive got a third of the tank left. (including a couple trips to redline)
