Delear gave me code 4-8 from my ABS control box (bad left rear ABS wheel sensor). Cleaned all 4 sensors and still I have an ABS light.

Any info and/or insight about the code and/or bad sensors is much appreciated. I have an online G2 Helms, but wonder if the ABS system is unchanged for my 1994 GS-R.

Is the wiring to and from the sensor hot?

could be that a wire, connector is loose or broken.

 

It's possible and I haven't looked into that, but the ABS light is not on all the time. When the ABS light is off, the ABS pulsates and works like it should. But I guess that could be a poor (not quite broken) connection.

Anyone with a Helms care to check info about ABS codes and specifically 4-8? Thanks.

 

Aaron, let me know if you need another ABS module....I will be pulling the one from my ITR along with the prop. valve, lines, master cylinder & booster. All of this will be for sale. -Greg

Sorry Aaron, but I don't have the wheel sensors. All that I have left is the module, line, boster, M.C. and prop. valve. -Greg

 

*Update*......Sorry guys, but I've decided not to sell the booster. Everything else is for sale. First $450 takes the lot! Keep in mid that the ITR ABS module alone is worth much more than that!! I'm selling it all dirt cheap simply because I need extra cash right now (my wife just changed professions and hasm't brought home a dime in about 2 months!
