Fuse keep blowing!!!!!
Car: 90 DA
Fuse: backlight/dashlight/corner lights
I tried replacing the fuse twice and they just keep blowing. I tried checking the wires for the backlight/dashlight/cornerlights but there was no splices/damages in the wires. Is there an easier way to check which of the lights are shorting out? or is it my bulbs?

That might cause more damage though. If the power exceeds 15amps when you put in the 25amp fuse it might burn out whatever the fuse controls, wires, bulbs, etc.
To the poster, do you have anything aftermarket wired to any of those things the fuse controls? Extra lights? aftermarket bulbs? etc?

i had the same thing happen to me so i took the center consle apart and looked at the wires and seems somehow a wire to my radio came loose and once i fixed that, bingo

I do have 2 aftermarket gauges whiched i spliced into the dashlight wire (red w/ black line)

I tried putting new fuses in twice and they blow right away.

OK, next question, if its the running lights, does the fuse blow right when inserted or when you turn the running lights on?
If it blows right away, you have a short before the switch....so its nto your guage install since I assume you wired it to the running lgihts so they'd turn on with them.
If it blows after the switch is turned, then you have a short after the swtich, start by removing your guages and see what happens. If the problem is fixed, then check the resistance of the guages, if its a short ~0ohms, then there is a short in the guages.
If the problme isnt fixed, start tracking down the short...its not gonna be easy
best tool for the job is a multimeter, check the resistance between the 12V and the ground wire, shouldnt be ~0ohms, progressively disconnect things until you isolate the part that caused the resistance to go so low.
Sorry man, shrots suck ***

look bihind your fuse box find the wire that goes to the fuse that is been blowing out if is your tail lights cluster, plates lights should be a red wire with a black strip, as soon as you find that right wire follow the wire with your eyes and fingers , you might have to take out your interior parts out ,
that wire that goes to your blowing fuse is either touching your frame
and is grounded thats way keeps blowing
do not put a bigger fuse if you do you will burn the wire plastic

I had the exact same problem for a long time...try unsplicing the gauges and then put a fuse then see if it still blows...if it doesnt...then it's obvious that your gauges are to blame...perhaps they aren't grounded properly

its not the gauges. i already took out both gauges and the fuse still blows. thanks though. anybody else got ideas?

problem fixed!!! i just decided to rewire my gauges, alarm, and stereo and the fuse stopped blowing.
Now I have a new problem! the corner lights and tail lights aren't flashing when I arm/disarm the alarm system and sometimes the horn wont chirp. Is there another fuse involved here? Thanks for everyones help.

no, im using butt connectors

could be a loose butt connector that's cuasing the intermittent horn...as for the flashing lights...my alarm does the same....if its not an alarm function, you may have connected a wire where it shouldnt have been connected.
i have a 1990 da and i have had same prob. lights would turn on but once car moved fuse would blow. it was a short somewhere in my cluster so i cut the wire. still need to fix it
