fuel rail

do you need and aftermarket fuel rail to install a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?

Why do you need either piece? I truly dont understand why people upgrade parts like the FPR and fuel rail when 99.9% of the time, the stock one will work just fine. By the way, i plan to run my stock FPR and rail on E85 @ around 450-470whp...just to give you an idea of what's possible.
