Default Fuel pump problems? help!

Hey fellas,

I have been having some problems lately when starting my car, if I turn the key right away and crank the engine it starts up but then dies, next try it runs perfect.

Fuel filter isnt that old, fuel pump about a year old. 7-8K miles on it

If I allow it to fully prime the pump it starts first try but has a slight hiccup. fuel pump showing signs of last days?

Fuel pump is a Walbro 190LPH. It whines at idle but has a different pitch of sound with throttle positions, sound pitch gets deeper while the throttle goes down. this normal?

you might have a bad injector leaking inside the cylinder or a bad pump and thats why it takes a while for the fuel to travel all the way from the tank to the injector, the best way to find out is putting a fuel gauge and let the car seat over night and crank it, the needle should go all the way up as soon as you turn the key, if it takes a while then you have and internal leak, pull the plugs out and see if theres any fuel inside the cylinder, also the check valve inside the pump could be bad and all the fuel is going back to the tank
