I'm having a problem with fuel/fuel pump I think.Here is what is happening,it started a few weeks ago my fuel pump would'nt turn on when i started my car sometimes (never turned off while driving) I would unplug it/bang on it and could get it to turn on. Also when ever i would floor it for extended periods of time 4-5miles it would feel like I hit fuel cut or something and would not rev any more after a few seconds it went away till i try to floor it again.Fast forward to last weekend my fuel pump would not come on at all no matter what I did.My friend had a fuel pump he put in while I was at work.It worked good for him when he started it.I get home late so I didnt bother to check,next day i go out and nothing.I started trying to figure it out and found out it was the plug on the fuel pump the one with 2 wires and plug like this - l .I had to get to school and work so i just ran a wire from the ACC of my cdplayer to the plug.The fuel pump works great now,but i want to know what is the specs for that plug what it does,voltage on each wire supposed to be ect. So i can fix it the right way.My next problem since I have done this is i'm hitting fuel cut/limiter? at around 6k.I also changed the fuel filter.Thanks for any help car is a 98 gsr
