fuel filter problems
I was going to finally change my fuel filter that has been long overdue.I went to loosen
the bolt on the bottom and found that the head is half stripped.Im afraid to try to get it off and end up not being able to get it back on tight. So im looking at getting a new fuel line.I just wanted to know if I need this one here? Its number 12 in the pic.

Yeah, it's #12 in the picture.
But, have you tried filing the compression nut to get back to parallel faces and sharp edges? You may have to use a comparable standard or a size smaller metric line wrench afterwards, but it'll save you from having to replace the entire hard line from front to back.

what kinda wrench are you using? just a normal box end? if so put it down and use a line wrench, that is what they are made for. if you use a line wrench chances are pretty good you'll get it off and back on
had the same problem, bottom fuel bolt was stripping, so i just took a vice-grip twisted the ******. with another wrench holding the other of course.
