fuel filter...
i was doing a tune-up yesterday, and the last thing to change was the fuel filter--so i bolted it on and went for a test drive...it was really driving strong and then after a minute or so i smelled fuel, so i pull over and see that their's petrol shooting from the gasket....i take it out and see that its really worn/worp, so i called a bunch of dealers/auto part retailers and none of them had the freakin gasket...so i can't drive 'till i find it and its pretty impossible right now, so if anyone has a spare gasket or knows a place that sells 'em please call me (818 207-2419) if you are in the SOCAL glendale/burbank/pasadena area....-alek
From my experience, dealers won't carry the gasket at all - because it comes with the OEM fuel filter. You may have to buy a completely new filter from a Honda dealer (and it will come with the gasket in the package) - I think Pasadena Honda parts dept is usually open on weekends. Good luck!
huh?
if you are talking about 94-01 integras, the fuel filter uses Aluminium Crush washers for the top and no washer on the bottom.
a new filter comes with the two two washers (gaskets) if that is what you are talking about, you put one on both sides of the fuel pipe, (one on top the filter, and the other on top the pipe, then put in that big 17mm bolt in it.
I know for a fact that they sell those two washers separately from the dealer but quite expensive, if you have a hookup at Honda/Acura (like I do
) buy a new filter and replace the whole thing.
I don't know which other washers (gaskets) you would be talking about by the fuel filter.

Integra 94-01 part # is 16010-ST5-933, I am not sure if the 99-00 Si uses the same filter. However, Honda dealers can get Acura parts for you. I always get Acura parts from Power Honda in Costa Mesa.
It is the same part # and same item.
I have a Honda Electronic Parts Catalog, and crossreferenced the two numbers they are the same for Honda/Acura. just give your Honda Dealer the part # off the Acura integra one, they should have it in stock.
