I just ordered this mugen style lip below and I was wondering if it replaces my oem lip or does it bolt right on the existing lip? I forgot to ask..

 

by the looks of it, it looks like it goes over ur lower half of the bumper, cuz it has no mounting points along the top of that to mate it with the bottom of the upper half of the bumper.

 

so i still get to keep my stock lip? darn, i was hoping to totally replace it... lol

 

i saw the same thing on ebay. i was wondering what that is exactly. i never saw that for the 94-97 teg front end.

NO problemo.. I ordered it because I've never seen it before also and its nice & clean.. not too funky or too extreme.. I'm gonna have a buddy of mine paint & install it, if it has to be bolted on my stock lip, i'm thinking about having it molded on..

I'll get pics up when i get my lip in the mail & installed on my ride.

I got it from hmotorsports, i saw it on ebay but i made an outside offer and homie hooked up for $135 shipped to my door via fed ex.. check ebay now and you'll see that this lip is going for $150+ right now... hahaha, i feel good

this is the same thing that is being advertised in the best buys forum under "lips" or something or other...they are being sold there for $99...but that of course, is if enough people get them, so you did well in paying 135 to get it now. Its made out of plastic i believe..please post pics when you get it on.

well if you have an extra oem lip already on there then take it off. this one just goes over the bumper.

 

High quality ABS plastic.. patiently waiting for lip..

 

it replaces ur OEM lip...which u can then sell for another 200 bux...

 

cool, i think i'm gonna keep my oem lip in storage though.. I know OEM will always worth more then aftermarket, and just in case i sell my car in the future.

 

i would put ur new lip into storage..OEM fr lips are the sexiest u can get...

I got one about 2 weeks ago. it looks good, havent put it on yet, still wait till spring, snow is still all over places. BTW, post pic when you got it installed

 

Really want to see a pic of that lip installed. I am getting one too but need to see that installed before I can choose my side skirts..... If anyone has one installed or can even just prop it up against the car and take a pic I would be well impressed

 

i have that lip chilling in my room.. Need to paint & install when i have a chance... anyone know where can i get a cheap paint job done nicely? Can i just go to a paint store & request the paint in a can, if i tell them the color code? my friend says he'll have his dad paint gun it.. he does a good job

It will fit, cuz i held it over my front lip and it looks really nice.. I dont want to paint it right now cuz it has been raining for weeks.. when it dries up, I'll get it painted & installed w/pics for you guyz to see..

 

Hey bud, your played out if you put that lip on because I've had it for a month already and it's already on my car, I'm the first. So when you get it just burn it. I registered on here just to let you know.

Wow! You registered on this site just to let people know that because you happen to have a particular lip, that the creator of this thread is played out?? You must be really special then, cause almost everyone on this site is played out then according to your logic unless they were the first one to "prove" that they had a particular body mod done. Hey everyone with the OEM kit, you guys are all played out!
