place the jack stands on the side jack points, directly behind the front wheels, you'll see a spot where they rest on

In that picture, I think he has the stands on the front tow hooks, and the actual jack on the core support (not recommended!!).

yah? I got tired of having to jack each side up on the tow hools, kind of lazy to do that. Today when I jacked the car up it leaned to the side (a little) I was jacking up, I thought that was dangerous. my hand brake was in place.

Well that's fine I guess.

That's messed up man.

If you look under the front of the car, in the middle, there's a spot on the slashguard that has an arrow on it. That's where you could place the jack.

he jacked the car up on the front radiator support in that picture. you can either jack up the front of your car there, or on the front tow hooks (one on each side). i would only put jack stands where it says to put them (picture shows in the post above) on the sides of the car, though.

just look under the front of the car. There's a big metal bulge. Pretty easy to find if you just stick your head under there.

gawd... if youd' bother to go outside and look at your goddamn car you'd see hte jacking point. It is *not* on the core support (not to mention it would bend under the weight of the car) and they're not called "tow hooks" under the doors, its a jack(ing) point.

The front tow hooks are farther up front and farther to the sides.

that is the same spot (in the photo) that i jacked my car up when i put my header in. theres a metal tab that sticks down right under the radiator which is meant to use for a jack.
