So i bought this aftermarket Civic 99-00 fog lights and it all comes with everything: wires, switch, 30amp fuse, lights, etc.... I retrofit in on my 01' Integra so to make the story short I did the wiring and hooked it up from cigarette lighter. After all the installation and wirings i turn it on and it did for like 4-5 times and after that it wont turn on again. So i checked the 30amp fuse and it was burnt. Now my question is how can i make this thing work w/o burning the fuse ? do i have to wire it somewhere else or can i just get a higher amp fuse ? What causing it burn ? Please help me....
Thanks in advance....

the 30 amp fuse hooks to the battery and there is supposed to be a wire from the switch that goes to 12 volts somewhere to switch the lamps off with the ignition , does someone have an exact diagram? that high current fuse though can't come off the lighter, if you blew a 30 amp fuse you probably damaged some of the wiring somewhere, if you don't know anything about wiring, as I can guess you don't, I'm hesitant that you hook this up yourself or you are liable to set your car on fire
