i was trying to knock off the 3 pins on my flywheel so i can take it in to get it serviced and they broke on me.

just wondering if those are a must have on the flywheel or not?
I was told not to worry about it, but just wondering what you guys would think.

 

they make sure you put the pressure plate on correctly. if you are careful and line the holes up correctly again everything will work right. without the pins you can install the plate off and the balance will also be off. there is no reason to ever remove those pins
