flywheel...
Do i HAVE to have these little pins on the flywheel for the clutch to sit on? Because i bought a lighten flywheel and it came with the pins, but the pattern of the clutch doesn't sit on the flywheel correct with those on.
Are you sure you have the pressure plate aligned right? It can only go on 1 way, the holes on the pressure plate look lik they are identical but one of them has diffrent spacing, I had the same question when I installed a new clutch on my 98gsr.

Exactly. It only goes on one way, so keep rotating it until the dowels line up with the holes in the pressure plate.

I don't know the holes didn't align with those pins on the flywheel trust me i tried for over 20 minutes. So i don't know what to do if i should keep trying to put my oem flywheel back on.

I just found out from my friend that the pins on the flywheel are to align the pressure plate to sit straight. So if i don't have to pins in it could vibrate at higher rpms so i just put my stock flywheel on and the exedy replacement clutch sat right on it perfect.
