Flywheel
My freind is instaling my new Exedy Clutch. And he said I should go ahead and install a lighter flywheel since the tranny will be dropped.
Any input on some would be nice.
Ive seen alot of 8lb flywheels but that seems really light.

i got a stock flywheel and i got the shop to lighten it to about 10 lbs. they did it and also balanced it.
it works good for me
... i stay in vtec in all of my runs. i dont drop out of vtec. IMO, i thought that 8lbs was too light.

a few years ago I went with that set up in my 1990 Integra which had a simple GSR swap.....the Exedy clutch and flywheel was a great upgrade. You'll deff enjoy the way your engine rev's with that flywheel... I would strongly recomend doing the flywheel also.
WHAT'S UP - GO ALL THE WAY WITH IT MAN. I HAVE 97 GSR AND I WENT AHEAD AND UP GRADED MY TRANNY WITH EXEDY STAGE 1 MATED WITH EXEDY 8.8 POUND CROMEMOLY FLY WHEEL. THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT FLYWHEEL BUT GLAD I DID IT. WAS LIKE U (TRANNY OUT / SHOULD I?) NO REGRETS - YOUR **** GETS UP THERE AND COMES ALIVE QUICKER. 2 YEARS LATER AND STILL LOVING THE TRANNY COMBO!!!!!!
I am in the same situation, i asked HT awhile ago the same question. And now i have a exedy stage 2 clutch, fidenza 8.5lb flywheel and im going to install a LSD since the tranny is going to be taken out. Just have to save up a little more money for the work. Cant wait till its done.
