Default flat black engine bay

I was thinking of doing this while the motor was out. I looked could not find anyone with it. Has anyone ever done this? How does it look? Got any pic? Btw i got a dc2 that is going to be painted pearl white.

If the engine is already out, just paint the bay the same as the body. It will look better, and increase resale value down the road.

I could have them paint that to. But i was thinking flat black will look real good. Just asking if anyone ever done this.

my friend has done this and let me tell you its okay if ur cars gonna be black but if you paint ur car white its gonna look bad. trust me paint ur engine bay white its gonna look sick painted white, painting car white and bay black will tell others you did a half *** job and doesnt look all that appealing paint bay and car white thats what i wanted to paint my teg but i painted it nighthawk black peral bay and car for urs paint all white trust me the value will raise if you wanna sell it looks complete and clean

I think that paint the bay the same color of the car is probably the best you can do

most ppl like sum of my friends painted bay flat black cuz it was easy and cheap, they cudnt afford to paint bay as car. with paint and clear you gotta strip it to bare bay but if you use a can you can tape here and thur and do it fast and its cheap but painted bays same as car color looks much better i know cuz every honda/acura ive had i always painted bay same color as car and i always sold them for more cuz it was painted and looked super clean flat black is a nice color but not for bays(my opinion)flat black bay looks plain and simple but white paint with clear looks real shiney and stands out more

I just google it. Yea your right it does not look that great imo. In my head it looked GREAT! After seeing a pic of it i pass now. Going to start looking in to a wire tuck. Thanks for the in put.
