Soon I plan to swap the engine in my 92 DA pretty much on my own. I've never really done more to a car than tune-ups etc. I have access to about every tool and Im pretty well mechanically inclined, but still very intimidated by it. Has anyone else been in this situation? How did it go for you? Any adivce would be helpful, no negative comments plz, Im a noob just looking for input.

Well the only way your are ever gonna learn is just from experience. Dont worry as long as you follow the directions and know what your doing. Youll be fine. Just in the mean time keep researching. you could never know enough.

im doin as much research as i can, and reading random threads on here and other forums. ill get help from friends who know a bit more, when the time comes though i will certainly take my time to make sure its done right. what scares me the most is the wiring and crap
