Default Firewall map sensor to a TB map sensor?

how and would that work? block of the hose from the firewall one...........run the hose too....?
anything?

MAP sensor reads vacuum right after the Throttle plate, they did away with the hose because there was a delay in vacuum reading when the throttle was opened, the longer the hose, the longer the delay, the voltage reading on both styles is the same, 3 wire MAP sensor, do not mount one to close to an intake runner going to a specific cylinder, getting further away from the Throttle plate shows signs of pulsations in the surge tank, thats the Japanese name for the large area of the IM, its a surge suppressor of sorts.

Use a vacuum plug to block off the old nipple on the IM.
