Default finally got header on :)

thx to ksmotorsports, i finally got my header and today was able to find time to install my greddy SS 4-2-1 header. the install was really easy like 20-30 mins, after we did it about 5 times on my brothers car...anyway heres a few pics for you guys to enjoy:

hrmm...whats in here?

those bolts can be a bitch eh? thats my friend breaking it loose for me

and the money shot!

after only running for about 5 mins...talk about cooking

anyway i can feel a little gain on it, nothing huge but it sounds a lot fuller w/my exhaust now. overall i give it a 5 's out of 5 s

Lookin' really nice. A Header seems to be pretty straight forward install, was it hard at all? My car came with them so I wouldn't know.

My header was that color at one point, golden, bluish color. I got into an minor accident and the car was in the bodyshop for about a week, and all that dust layed on the engine. The header is still golden color but with dust on it, no matter what I do, it doesn't come off, it's very ugly looking.
Have any idea to remove these dust particles off the header?

Try using Simple Green and some elbow grease, should take it right off.

You'll discover more of a power gain if you replace your cat. with a high-flow version.

I surely did when I went with a TP. Your exhaust is bottlenecked, so when its done, itll flow much better.

yeah, the cat is the biggest bottleneck in your entire exhaust system, even with everything else opening up, the stock cat will still be restricting the majority of the flow...put a high-flow cat in there and you'll be set sounds better too

So did you notice the power gain in the midrange? Also how much did you pay for shipping?

looks good 30 minute install is pretty quick. That's faster than some place's oil changes.

ks motorsports offers free ground shipping so it was 272 shipped to my door yea i can notice a little mid gain, but nothing that dramatic...

yea it was done really fast, 15 of that 30 mins was unbolting and bolding that header to the car...what a pain
