Fiberglass hood
Who makes or where can I buy a good quality OEM style fiberglass hood for a USDM DC 2 door integra?
I've been trying to find one and it appears duraflex is the only company that makes fiberglass hoods but they only makes aftermarket style hoods, or oem style hoods for JDM front ends

Re: Fiberglass hood
why do you want one? there;s little if any weight saved, in fact, the one that i have seen is actually heavier. the only hoods that are lighter are carbon

Re: Fiberglass hood
I was leaning towards fiberglass cause of the price. A good fitting CF hood is pretty expensive, $400+ vs. about 250+ for fiberglass. Plus I plan on painting the fiberglass hood to match the body. I didn't know fiberglass was almost as heavy as a steel hood. I was told they were 10-15 lbs. lighter. But if they are almost as heavy as steel hoods, I'll just stick to an oem steel hood and remove some of the skeleton to shed a few lbs. Thanks for the tip.
