Default which is faster..

well guys, trying to get my first car. Only problem is insurance. First on my mind
1)94-98 GSR
2)93 gsr (b17)
3)LS

Is b17 gsr the same as b18 gsr speed wise/which is faster?
I know LS is tie race until 3rd gear and thats when gsr pulls.

Well, it really depends on the car and driver. Most of the time 94-01 GSR are faster.

well 92-93 is 1.7L where 94+ is 1.8L, what would you think might be slightly faster?

the bigger engine doesnt always make it faster....you neglected to factor in gearing which the 92 gsr has a significant advantage over the dc2

the 92-93 gsr(db2) is fast 0-60 wise and has almost the same 1/4 as a 94-01 gsr(dc2).

Barely a difference between the DA GSR and DC GSR. I'd go with the DA... for the sexy lines

bleh this thread is ghey

Don't count on an LS being as fast off the line... I bet a GS-R would still have a faster 1/8 mi. time than an LS, stock for stock.
