94 EG Cooling Issue, Only Car need to get to work
Ill try and keep it short,
94 eg d16 bone stock.... few problems I need some input on
1. The Fan is not coming on. Iv checked all the fuses but I think it may be the Coolant Fan Relay in the fuse box under the hood.... Is there any way to test this relay.
2. The Thermostat ( brand New) is not opening up, will that make the fan not turn on?? because the coolant temp sensor i belive is located just after the thermostat in the thermostat housing? so without the coolant running pass the coolant temp sensor its not gonna trigger the fan to come on. is this true.

Re: 94 EG Cooling Issue, Only Car need to get to work
Oh also after I replaced the radiator, hoses and Cap after waiting to see if the thermostat would open and fan would come on, I noticed a Leak in the hose That runs from under the distributer to the fire wall i.e heater core hose i belive.
By anychance would this cause the thermostat not to open?? I highly doubt it but figured id throw it out there.
Iv also been thinking if by chance there was a bad water pump would that make the thermostat NOT open.

Any leak in the system can cause the problems you are having. Pockets of air can prevent coolant from opening the thermostat and stop the fan from engaging. First find all leaks. You can use a UV dye made for the coolant system to locate them. It's best to do this with the timing cover off so you can see if there is a leak at the water pump. Make sure the coolant reservoir isn't bubbling as that is a sign of a blown head gasket. Replace any hoses that look old, worn or suspect in any way. If the thermostat isn't opening then the relay isn't the problem. Lastly, anytime a hose is replaced you should check along its length to be certain that no areas of hose are in danger of rubbing against anything when the motor is vibrating.
