Default F20 in a DA?

Has anyone heard of anyone putting a F20B 97-98 (Accord SiR-T) into a DA? Do you guys think it's possible? I'd really like to do something different from the B series swap, and I don't really have enough money for a K series. I'm thinking either this or an H series engine.

something different always gets respect but most of the time for the HP the engine swap is putting, it's no different from putting in a b-series. that's when everyone says it's cool but it's pointless

Do you guys think that it would be worth it to go for an f20 swap? The motor itself is actually cheaper then the b18c1. I don't know how well it would fit and what modifications would be required, so that would probably bring up some more money. I just want something different then the usual B series swap. The H series is also being done a lot right now, so i'd rather do the F series if possible/worth it.

there are also no mounts made for it.

the f20b and h22, are about the same size i think. they would most likely use the same mounts.

the h22a currently needs to bang the firewall a tad already

even if 2 motors use the same mounts dont mean it has the same demesions.....

Yes. Many times, I just want something that will stand out more. I'll probably end up going for the GSR. I might consider going frankenstein but I'd need to find a shop around here that will tune it for me. I'm still trying to learn as much as possible from this site. I only recieved my car about 3 months ago. This was just something that I haven't heard of and was considering. Thanks for the info guys.

swap a b18c5 in your da... it will be a newer type r...lol. but seriously, that would look tight as hell in a da.

I am actually considering the hype r engine. I'm not sure though, i've heard a lot of mixed emotions about b18c5. Of course theres also mixed emotions with EVERY engine. I'll definetely consider doing the b18c5 though.

i say do it, i have only heard about clearance problems with that engine, but that was oly on a couple da's. i think that would be a sweet engine to swap in, it is pretty different too, because at least where i am at, there are only b18c1's in da's, no c5's!

Ahh, yes. RedZone. Have heard many good things about them from friends of mine. I have also read a few threads on here saying some good things about them. Even met a few of the people at a new years party, including the owner I believe. to them.
