I have an excedy stage 1. Grabs really well for the amount of peddle effort. very pleasant.
As for installation, you should look into doing it yourself. I have done numerous clutches. Integra's and Civic's have, by far, the easiest and most pleasant clutches to replace. I did one in under five hours. I would suggest you buy a chiltons, research, and do-it-yourself. Youl feel confident, and probably have an extra $300 or so to put a flywheel, or stage 2. But IMO, stick with excedy. Clutchmasters and ACT are good, but out of those three, I woul take excedy for the pure fact of good engineering, resulting in long life, reliability, and drivability.

Dont listen to this guy. Your not going to get any "power" from a clutch.

dude, u should really wait till like 1000ish miles, even more if you can stand it before any hard launches of any kind. trust me, it might suck now, but it'll be worth it 50,000 from now.

it only took me about 1-1 1/2 to take off the tranny and about 2 1/2 hrs to put it in (working slow, being lazy lol).
its really not that hard.you should try it yourself.that way youll save money and you learn how to do it next time.

stage 2 is overkill. the stock clutch is more than enough for the amount of hp your car is pushing out., unless you get a turbo setup or something... so stick with stage 1. You are just wasting your money if u get a stage 2... also, 8lb is too light. You should get the streetlite... I presume that this is a daily driver. Streetlite is perfect for your needs. So unless you put out some mAd JdM pOWer! don't get anything over stage 1.

Id still get the "stage 2" or Organic full face race clutch. It'll be worth it down the line. The stage one, if its anything like the stock clutch, it wont last if you race on it a lot. Common problem is one of the disc springs pop out. For the money, the full face organic is way worth it. Ive put about 65k miles on mine, driven hard on it plenty of times, delivered pizzas for about a year on it, a lot of "spirited driving", and basically mostly city driving and it still grabs as good as it did since I broke it in.
I've got the ACT streetlite flywheel too. Honestly, I should have went a little lighter, maybe a 10 pound. The difference with the streetlite from stock is noticeable, but not to the point where its a night and day difference. Im planning to get a 10lb one when i swap in my B16 tranny, debating whether I should just opt for the Prolite or not though... along with a new clutch (might as well since its out, plus i cant use mine on the new trans)
Anyways, the Full face organic is worth it, especially if you do any mods to your motor down the line, it just gives you piece of mind so you wont have to worry about your clutch going out anytime soon.
clutchcityonline.com usually has good prices on them. At the time I got mine they had the best prices around.
BTW I agree with the guy above saying wait until at least 1000 miles before you get on it. Might as well be safe than sorry

Could someone translate this for me^^^^
I thought the Exedy Stage One is the full face organic race clutch. It only cost $225 shipped and a flywheel can be had for around $175. On G2IC, many of the members are using this clutch with great results.
Remember Exedy also makes a stock replacement clutch for cheap, but for alittle more you can get the full face organic with added torque capacity with very little added pedal pressure, thats why it is so popular.

Stage 2 will save you money in the long run, but use the Chrome Alloy flywheel from Exedy, it's lightened and able to handle more horsepower, also comes with the SFI card needed for track.
yea clutchcity is the way i live 5 minutes away from clutchcity tht guy loves me bro he has good deals.

I use an exedy organic clutch. Held a 50 shot of nitrous for a year, and holding 227whp at .6 bar with ease. Just dont beat the **** out of the clutch and it'll hold nice power very well. and i use a fidanza flywheel (7.5lbs) i love it.
Depends on your power goals. I read somewhere that the organic disc can hold 170-200 ft lbs of torque. I've had clutchmasters before, but I'd have to say, the exedy organic clutch feels awesome. Has a stock feel, but pulls pretty hard on engagement.
