erm, re-accuring oxygen code
My 95 gsr has 260k miles on it..put new rotor/cap/plugs on recently. It runs fine in open loop...but recently started hesitating/sputtering with light acceleration. It finally produced a check-engine light. I thought it was the o2 all along and it did give me code 1. Replaced with a used....still got check engine...guess i got a bogus used o2. Replaced it with another used and STILL got the check engine. The 2 o2's i got from the same person so i just through they were shot. Bought a universal brand new - still gettting code 1. I've replaced all basic maintence stuff since i got it..and it runs perfect (besides this)...wondering if possibly the cat could cause this? I'm not sure if this is the stock 260k cat...i doubt it is, but anyone have any ideas why i would keep getting code 1? Thanks. After trying many o2's and one known-good. Thanks.
