EP3 rear brake fit in dc2?
i read somewhere in here that the ep3's share either the same or similar rear brakes as the type R. now i want more rear brake bias and upgrading to a rear type R brakes without switching out the trailing arm will be a big plus for me. anyone know if the rear brakes of an ep3 is same or similar to of a dc2r?

Re: EP3 rear brake fit in dc2? (Mr. Choi)
From Brembo catalogue, rear brakes
Integra Type R
D= 260mm
Min Thick= 8mm
Overall Height= 48.3
Integra
D= 239mm
Min Thick= 8mm
Overall Height= 47.6mm
RSX
D= 260mm
Min Thick = 8mm
Overall height = 48.3
02-03 Civic Si
Specs aren’t listed on the Brembo catalogue, but they are 10.3” front and 10.2” (260mm) rear according to the Honda.com. Exact specs aren't listed for the thickness and height, but it would be a good guess that they are 8mm and around 48.3mm respectively.
I think it would be a good assumption that the disc brake specs of the SI are the same as the RSX and ITR.
The calipers for the EP3 SI and ITR have differne't part numbers, (acuraparts247.com, slhonda.com) as do the pads.

Re: EP3 rear brake fit in dc2? (Mt3c)
The EP3 rear brakes are the same size as the ITR, but use a 4x100 pattern. If I recall, all you need is the caliper brackets from an EP3 or RSX and just use the Integra rear calipers. Although, I have the RSX rear caliper brackets, I haven't done the conversion myself since I haven't been able to get my hands on an EP3 rear disc.

hmm nice.
so is the ep3 caliper the same size as an integra? or is it the size of a type R? i know for sure gsr's caliper is smaller than a type R. and so is the brake pad.
so now my question is, are the brake pads from an ep3 the same as ITR?
