My ls integras stock b18b blew out . I'm buying a b20 b and putting it in does it run on the cars stock engine? Is b20 able to have a vtec head if so which vtec head I want one

 

yes you can put a vtec head on a b20 but just don't get caught if it's illegal where you live. B20 is a crv motor and getting caught will most likely force you to sell the car or buy another motor. It's safer just to do a gsr swap. Crv motor inside a teg means you can never state ref your car if it's illegal where you live just for FYI.

nope...a b20 motor inside a integra will never pass state inspection because it's crv motor.You can still swap it in and pass smog (if where you live requires it) but most likely you will have to do it under the table.I'm just saying go ahead and swap it on you're own risk.Once you get pull over and the cop ask you to pop your hood then your pretty much screwed.

 

thats only if you live in california... most anywhere else you wont have a problem
