is it even possible, although i know it isn't ideal, to match a gsr engine with an auto ls tranny?''

please dont tell me it sucks and this and that, i just wanna know if it will work

 

it might work I am not sure. I know will have problems with the gear ratio. the ls gears are too long for a gsr engine, you might end up breaking something. I would go with a gsr tranny for a safe bet

 

does anyone know for sure? cause i need to get a new engine, but my car is an automatic, and a new engine and 5 speed conversion may not be possible at the moment, so i was wondering if i got a gsr engine, and held the 5spd conversion for awhile, would it work
