hey guys, i have an LS and wants a GSR but, the engine is a complete Auto swap, could i use my LS tranny with the GSR engine??? or cant this be possiable cause its automatic???

 

yes you can use any combination of gs-r engine with ls, gs-r, type-r, transmission..

but that ls tranny will slow you down

 

okay cool, well im not truelly in it for speed, well as of yet anyway ...my b18B runs good just want a lower milage engine that has a faster potenial down the road, i may get the tranny when i re-sell my B18b engine and the auto tranny

why will it slow it down??? isnt the gears in the LS longer ??? yea thats longer periods between shifts but would it hold the power band a little bit longer?

 

would i need new axels or could i use my ones i have now ?? if i switched to a b18C engine/>??

 

as long as ur axels are manual and not auto u can use them.
