Engine Ticking Question
So my engine would always have a ticking noise at idle speed, with 167,700 miles I wouldn't expect it to be super smooth. Anyways I replaced my plug wires with some Accel 300+ Thundersport wires and reset my ECU, now the noise had pretty much gone away. Any ideas of what it could be? It definitely wasn't any arcing,
Fun fact though -
Napa OE Replacement wires - 9,430 ohm resistance on #4 wire
Accel 300+ ThunderSport wires - 371 ohm resistance on #4 wire

if you think its coming from the head then it could be your LMA's if you know its the old kind (hydraulic) or never changed them out. the new kinds that are better and dont tick are springs. get some b16 ones. if you find them for cheap let me know! i need them to i have the same problem.
