Default Engine removal.

So gsr is coming out and will be doing a B20V. I have a few questions, do I need to remove the driver side axel to lift the engine out of will it just come loose at the half shaft ?(nut is super tight). 2nd do you guys remove the trans when pulling the engine ?. I've got just the mounts and the driver side axel left so I'm almost there !

You can leave the outer part of the axle in the hub, undo your lower ball joint so you can remove the axle off of the half shaft before you pull the engine.

Pulling the tranny first is only making more work for yourself. Remove the engine with the tranny still attached.

Thank you ! didn't think of the undoing the bj and pulling it out that way.

No worries. That's a little hint I learned doing swaps. I leave both axles in the hubs, just undo the lower ball joint and they'll come out of the tranny/half shaft easily.
