Default engine problems....help

ok today after filling my tank on my way home i was on an open road and decided to have some fun, (i have an auto) i didnt floor the gas pedal but i was accelerating fast and when i got to about 60, it felt as if it didnt shift, so when i turned into my development, it sounded as if i was a 1000hp drag racer...i and another person do not think that the problem is with the motor mounts because when i am in park and i rev the engine, it does not move it stays in place. the only engine mods that i have are an exhaust. also, when i rev my engine past like 3 or 4k it seems to be fine but not normal...any suggestions

i don't want to say it's your tranny, but if it's not engaging into the next gear it could very well be. What RPM was your car at when you were hitting 60? Sometimes you can pump the accelerator on an Auto tranny and it'll shift gears.

yea im kinda hesitating also to say that it might be the tranny. im gonna go and see how it is today, and maybe drive it down the street and see how it sounds and feels. the one thing that makes me say that it has nothing to do with the exhaust is the fact that the car is shaking when i turn it on...

^ My brother's friend's g2 had the same problem. 2 out of 4 spark plug wires were loose. Right off the bat I noticed that the wires were different diameters. I'm guessing whoever put on the bigger wires didn't know what they were doing. It's good to here your car is running fine again.
