i was driving down the street at about 5k rpms when the rpms droped all the way down to 0 and back up again and then it just stalled on me. this has happened before and i was told that the fuel pump was going out, so i replaced it, its been driving fine for the past two mounths and now its doing it again. does anybody know what it could be

 

you have to give more detail.

 

the rpms bounce up and down without letting off the gas like its not getting any gas and it stalls while driving down the street.

Yeah you probably have a bad connection on your ICM or something along those lines.

 

check the pressure on the fuel system in general, it could be a clogged line/filter/bad injector.
