Default engine problem?
i started my car last night, and the motor was revving by its self. The check engine light came on, and then the motor just turned off do you guys know what the problem is?

sounds like the vaccum line came of the intake or the brake booster.

be a little more specific, what does it idle at? any clanking sounds? what rpm's does it fluctuate between, we more info to help u out.

at first it idles normal when you barely start your car ... say around 1500, there are no clanking sounds.. and it revvs upto about 3500 and then thats when it just goes down and then dies

check all vacuum lines, it sounds like u may have a leak. u throwing any codes?

ok, i have the odb2-code reader and it threw me this code (P1607) Engine Control Module (ECM) - thanks to drag III integra - but yea how can i fix this?
