engine noise?
my rod brngs. are going bad i believe i'm getting the marbles in a can sound at about 2k and up
2,000 miles from oil change some how i lost 3+ quarts with out leaking?
what i'm wondering is!! does anyone have a short block for sale 94and up or does anyone know
a miracle store online that sells them? i've been looking for hours and can't find much affordable
95ls or anything b series will do! thanks

Bad rod bearings don't really sound like that. It's more of a knocking that increases in speed with rpm (also louder during higher engine loads).
"Marbles in a can" sound is more likely detonation. You say you lost that much oil? Try diagnosing the problem first before throwing down lots of money and buying something new.
Compression test? Leakdown? Even valves maybe? Check the simple stuff first.

i work in used cars so i'm 99% sure that it's a bottom end noise.
it had no oil in it that i could notice and it only starts rattling at 2-3k and up
but i will check compression also before i change it
