alright when i turn my car on the check engine,lights up then flashes 10 times, then disappears. i jumped the two terminals under the dashboard to read the trouble codes but, no flashes to read. i looked up the 10 flashes and the indicator codes are telling me its the (intake air tempeture sensor) is this correct. im not sure because i was unable to jump the terminals.

 

Are you sure it's the "Check Engine Light" and not the Maintenance Required Light? The CEL light won't blink unless it's jumped already. It will stay on solid.

The Maintenance Required Light will initially blink upon startup. After a few hundred miles, it will stay on solid until it's reset by you or the dealer. It's just there to remind you to do normal maintenance such as oil changes, fluid top-offs, etc. It comes on automatically after about 7500 miles or so.
