Recently, did Auto to Manual on my 3rd Gen. 00' GS
then went for OBD1 conversion with Skunk2 Harness.

here are the problem i have met so far:
1. Rpm gage doesn't function.... (fixed by extend a new tach wire from engine bay)
2. Cruise control not function? still workign on it.


ok, here comes the Serious Problem
I have been running with OBD1 ECU for almost 3 weeks till last friday...
i used to have a spare key in my ignition for auto starter... i figured that i no longer need it coz OBD1 has no immobilizer unit.. so took it out then car won't start no more..... car has been sitting in the shop since last friday....
check everything .... found out theres no Sparks when i start the car....
Had a SAFC installed but took it out today... coz for some reason they cooked it up... so the SAFC die~~

Like what's the deal here..... car is getting worse and worse now....
Can someone help me out here.....??
Sigh~~

 

it's funny coz the car does start with 00' auto ECU but 95' OBD1 ECU?
why? would it be possible that they cooked the SAFC then cooked the ECu as well?

 

help please
