Default Dealership just told me

I just took my car to the dealership to get it check out cuz for one i had the check engine light on (yellow/orange color), coolant leak, and my valves needed to be realigned cuz i did a bad misshift at the track.

Well, they just finished the valve realignment and fix the leak. Then they just called me and said the reason i have the check engine light and loss of power is cuz in my #4 cyclinder is running at 52 psi which is suppose to be really low from what he said. I don't how much psi is suppose to be in there or anything really technical like that. They qouted me $680 to remove something so they can figure what it is and fix.

a GS-R should have 200-220psi in all 4 cylinders. maybe a little less depending on the milage.

you have 52psi.........there is something seriously wrong there........have them check out the problem and i hope you have warentee still or else your gonna have one huge bill.......

52 psi is NO good. I just did a compression test on my 88k mile GSR and it was 210 across the board. And lemme tell ya, they werent easy 88k miles either

You need to get a Pinto, that will fix everything. Ask the service writer at the dealership about it, he'll tell you.
