as my knowledge, b18a comes in 90-93 integra and b18b are 94-2001 integra. I'm sure the only difference is b18a don't have crank sensor...

B18a is OBD1
B18b is OBD2

yea i forgot that part about the B's

I think 98 was the year B18b's became OBD2 because I have a 97 GSR which is OBD1 and 98 was when they change the body

any car, integra or not, is OBDII if its a 96 model year or later. honda got in alot of troubble back in the 90's cause in 96-97 their cars wernt obdII compatable, so they had to do massive recalls to convert.

if you have a 97 GSR, its cause it may have been converted to obd1

other than that, i dont know the difference between b18a and b18b. dcc may have the right idea, all i know is ive got a 95 ls with a b18b in it.

A: In 1994 is when they changed from an A1 to a B1. They also increased HP from 130 to 140.

B: You DONT have a 97 GSR that is OBD1!! Unless you converted it, its OBD2A.

C: In 2000 they changed from OBD2A to OBD2B. So 1996-1999 is OBD2A and 2000-2001 is OBD2B

D: The never changed the body of the Integra from 1994 to 2001. They only changed the bumpers and lights in 1998.
