im looking into how to elimint the abs system onmy dc2. its mostly a drag car so i really dont need it and it is just ugly under the hood. what i wanted to know is can i use eg civic hard lines and prop valve.or do i have to use the dc2 rs lines?

Theres a really good thread on this that I followed (thought I had a link but ill see if I can find it)....

Anyhow this is very simple...took me all of an 2 hours or so (given you have everything)

I had my motor and dash both out due to build from scratch im doing.

-Change out Master Cylinder for a RS Integra one
-Get rid of all ABS lines (Rear two brake lines that go into the prop valve are the same) you only need to remove the front lines and replace them with RS fronts.

I had a RS parts car I swapped everyhtign over from but I believe the thread im talking about has all of the part numbers for ordering all new parts.

thanks for the link. i know all the rs stuff will work but im try to get the lines form a junk yard and the rs is pretty rare, so if i can use the civic hard lines and pro valve it would make it much easier.

 

im off to the junk yard. ill post how it goes when i get home
