Hey guys. Got a sitch with my sisters integra. Shes been driving it for awhile and I know she doesnt mess with the electrical system at all. We baught it used. But the problem is the brake lights stay on constantly. It just happened recently. I checked all the fuses and the wireing for the rear bulbs dont seemed to be tampered with. and she hasnt changed the bulbs lately..so i dont beleive theirs a wrong bulb in there. Any suggestions?

 

The switch to turn on the brake lights is down at the pedal. Check it out. Bent bracket? Busted switch? Maybe it just needs to be adjusted?

 

is it the brake lights, or the brake light on the control panel?

if the latter, you need to top off the brake fluid.

if the former, the brake pedal switch is a good place to check. I'm not sure, but is there a relay for the brake lights...that may be broke (they're cheap).

 

its the actual brake lights guys..thanks for the replies..i'll go check..she said after she went over a bump..it has me stumped to what hapened..
