Default Electrical or Mechanical???

A while ago my car died and i figured it was the fuel pump cuz it was gettin ready to go. I replaced it, and then found out that the dizzy was bad too cuz i was gettin no spark. I replaced that. Now my car is throwing a solid cel.

So, Ive got a 91 obd0 teg jumped to obd1 and for some reason every time i try to paperclip it for a cel code the light stays solid. It never blinks not once, and ontop of that i get no action from the fuel pump, as in its not priming, and I get no spark.

After thinking about it I came to the conclusion that my car mayb died for other reasons in the first place, as in a bad ECU.

Could this be a bad ECU? Is there anyway to tell besides swapping it?

Also, how can i check my codes on a set up like this, paperclipping it just doesnt seem to be working...

solid cel's usually means a bad ecu. try resetting the ecu, check the usual main relay, fuses, or shorts.

I will, usually, if i remember correctly, when you have a CEL and turn on the car (key on no start) it will blink once and then give u the codes. Mine just stays solid from whenever i turn the key and never blinks. That's what made me jump to it being the ecu cuz im not gettin spark nor fuel and for BOTH to be out at the same time makes little sense.

Anythen else I should check besides the main relay and fuses.

anything clogging the fuel system? go and actually make sure ur not getting spark from the wires. make sure all the clips are clicked in the ecu. but i would borrow an ecu just in case, like i said, solid cel when JUMPED usually is an ecu going bad.
