ECU reader?!..

Ive seen the thread on how to read the CEL code, but i dont understand the diagram how do you exactly jump the clip on the ECU, how do you jump clip so the ECU will pulsate so you can read the code?!?

paper clip in the little 2 wire prong over there under the glove box.
