Default ecu help

i have a 95 hatch with a b18b1 swap out of a 95 integra.it was throwing some codes for a map sensor and air intake temp sensor so i replaced both when i finished i started the car.about 30 sec later the ecu started to smoke so i took that apart and a black thing next to the middle plug was fried how can this just happen out of the blue like this?

simple, you have a short or something wired wrong.

well the map sensor i had rewired before and some how i riped it so a guy i know tried to rewire it but i didnt realize he hacked it.do you think that when i put the new map sensor in it might have shorted it out?

we can't see your car or wiring. all you can get over the internet is a wiring diagram. you will have to start tracing.

yea i know that.but i just bought a new harness just got to find a new ecu and then ill see what happens.

find out what caused your last failure before you plug in another one. if you change nothing you'll likely have the same outcome
