i have a engine check light on...its read 12
n 12 is egr i replace it wit one from a junk yard n a new gasket.... n it was reving at 1.5 then it drops then 1.5 n drop then i fix it... bt the engine check light sitll comes on even with the new egr valve?? help??

now back to ur topic, did you take out the backup fuse in the engine bay fuse box? and let it sit for 10 mins? then plug everything back in?
