ECU and battery question..
Seeing as I just got a GSR, probably the most stolen car out there - I been thinking lately about some precautions to take..
Once the ECU is taken out once if you leave out around the carpet it really isn't that hard to disconnect/connect - I'd probably go through the trouble of disconnecting it every night ^_^ - However, my friend said I have to turn the battery off first or it will hurt the ECU eventually, fact?

Fact I work at Technique Automotive and every time we pull a comp we pull the neg. on the battery and the pos....... you can damage the comp buy putting surges of electricity threw it like that it would be better to just get an alarm that shuts off the car!
