ebrake light
it seems like everytime I cold start my car, i.e. mornings, the brake light in the cluster stays on even when I put the ebrake down all the way. It stays on for quite a while and will usually turn off once I have driven for a while. I searched and it seemed like everyones fix to this problem was to add more brake fluid, but my reservoir is full... On a possibly related note in order for my ebrake to actually work I have to pull it up until it hits the arm rest... would adjusting the ebrake fix the ebrake light problem too?
pull your center console off and under it there are 2 10 or 12mm nuts on the cables and just tighten them till you only need 6 or 7 clicks then check the little plug under there that might be loose also
also forgot to add that after driving for a while the brake light in the cluster will turn off temporarily when the brakes are applied and then come back on when I take my foot off of the brake pedal, which leads me to believe that its not an issue with the cables, although they still need to be adjusted
