This question has boggled my mind, sorry if its a noob question. As all of you know from my last thread, my car was demolished, and insurance let me keep it. If i part out everything, which means swap, interior, front and rear spindles, would the tow guy come and take it even if it isnt a rolling chassis? I want to get as much as I can from my car because my insurance gayed me with a very low check.

 

I once had a tow truck come and pick up a parts car that only had rear wheels and no suspension what so ever on it, he had no problem getting it on the truck

 

That is really going to depend on the type of truck they bring to tow it off too. I would call several towing companies around you and see what they say. I know people around here wouldn't have a problem with it, but then again we are all rednecks and that's just how things are done. haha

 

I had the same thing and I just took a band saw aka sawzall and chopped that **** up into about 6 pieces and took it to the dump. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to cut up sheet metal with that saw. It took me about an hour taking my time.

 

probably going to end up cutting the car up into pieces, saves me money rather than calling a tow company

 

take it to the scrap metal play the would give you money for it
